Public gpg keys

At the moment when I run apt-get update I get the following error on my two 
installs of ubuntu (both from the same iso file).


W: GPG error: http://archive.ubuntu.com hoary Release: The following 
signatures were invalid: BADSIG 40976EAF437D05B5 Ubuntu Archive Automatic 
Signing Key <ftpmaster at ubuntu.com>
W: GPG error: http://us.archive.ubuntu.com hoary Release: The following 
signatures were invalid: BADSIG 40976EAF437D05B5 Ubuntu Archive Automatic 
Signing Key <ftpmaster at ubuntu.com>

So I'm wondeering if the key is corrupted or something that I have and is 
there a way to update the key. Or for that matter any other suggestions that 
anyone has.
