gnomad2

Hi,
Im trying to install gnomad2 for my zen touch mp3 player. The one in 
synaptec is a fairly old version and wont detect my player.
Ive tried to install the latest version, but it requires libc6_2.3.5-4, 
but synaptec only shows 2.3.2. Ive tried to simply install the later 
version over the top but it failed as its allready installed. I then 
tried uninstalling the current version, but as expected it would 
uninstall a lot of other packages. So ive left that.
Is there anyway that i can simply update the installed libc6? Or another 
completely way around it?
