new motherboard - reinstall ubuntu?

I confirm, there is absolutely NO need to reinstall...



My current system is about 7 years old and never was reinstalled,
although I had several hardware upgrades. At some point, my linux even
was installed on a rack, which I used on 2 computers with completely
different hardware (one was a pentium, the other one a K6).



Just be sure to install the correct kernel before changing your
motherboard, if you need a different one...
