burning MP3 CDs

Hello,

I installed K3b and Gnomebaker but neither can burn
mp3 cds (I don't want to burn mp3 files as an audio
cd. I want to be able to burn them as mp3 files so
that I can listen to them from a cd player that plays
mp3's). I read on ubuntu forums that k3b does it, but
I could't get it to work. Do I need to configure
something ? 
should I use a different programme?
