How to mount Windows NTFS harddrive in Ubuntu?

Sorry, I can't help with this problem...

...but I can help with this!  Unmount the flash drive.  When you're 
sure it's unmounted, simply unplug it!  There will still be power at 
the usb port, but that doesn't matter, usb devices are hot-pluggable.
