we are setting up a mail server under ubuntu using postfx and sasl
(anyone have any insight to share on their experiences with this?).

In the sasl2 install there seems to be an issue...

Setting up sasl2-bin (2.1.19-1.5ubuntu1) ...
saslpasswd2: generic failure
dpkg: error processing sasl2-bin (--configure):

Has anyone seen this before or have any insight into what is going on?

The post install script "seems" to be failing at...
echo 'very_long_secret_password' | saslpasswd2 -c

Thanks,
