Beagle on Ubuntu or Debian

i also installed beagle as described on beaglewiki, but was too lazy to
compile a kernel with inotify. so i used it for a few days and the
system was unusable from time to time. beagled ate all memory and while
i also installed the firefox-entension, surfing the net really was no
fun. i also experienced that other applications behaved strange.
at some point, double-clicking a file in nautilus resulted in nothing.
overall sluggish performance and so on...

i hope this gets better with future releases. for now, i disabled all
beagle stuff and enjoy a fast and responisive desktop again ;)
maybe with an inotiy-enabled kernel things are more fun, but on the
other side: i'm using ubuntu cause i *don't* want to compile my kernel
anymore. (former gentoo-user here ;)
