Good to hear you've overcome the problem.



Just a thought to help keep the other printers going - have you checked
the parallel port configuration in the BIOS on your PC? In th epast I
have found it necessary to switch to ECC/EPP or Bi-directional or EPP
depending on the phase of the moon or whatever....seems to depend on
the distro and kernel....
