Reporting bugs on (new) universe packages

Hello,

I'm also interested in reporting bugs. 

reportbug for example return the bugreports on this email list. This is 
an odd default behavior of reportbug package in ubuntu in my opinion. 
It reminds me itself as an bug. Also reportbug didn't lists all other 
bug reports regarding the package as a first step to create a 
bugreport. 

Also the bugzilla pages aren't very convenient to report bugs.

I'm quite desperate regarding 'reporting bugs in ubuntu'.

I read that ubuntu will turn away from bugzilla to manage bugreports.
Does anybody know details or news about that?

Anyone out there who got a clue how to handle this (childsplay) and 
other bugreports?
