Thunderbird Error

For the last 24 hrs I've been getting the following error with
Thunderbird 1.02.
/usr/lib/mozilla-thunderbird/run-mozilla.sh: line 159: 11678
Segmentation fault      "$prog" ${1+"$@"}

I've reinstalled and only copied the minimum files over from my old
install to preserve my mail. However something somewhere seems corrupt
to cause this. Does any one have any ideas on where to go to isolate
this?
