Change Screen resolution?

Same issue with 5.04 live CD on my Dell optiplex. Looking around the
forums this seems to be a common issue with the 5.04 release --
without the HorizSync and VertRefresh values in xorg.conf the system
apparently falls back to a default config which is usually not ideal
(for me it was 640x480 -- completely unusable). Manually editing the
xorg.conf file and adding appropriate HorizSync and VertRefresh values
to the Monitor section makes it work for me.
