Carl,

If I were you, I would experiment with the PDF options. You have to select 
File -> Export as PDF, I believe. Changing the compression ratio will have a 
huge effect on file size, as will changing the default resolution.

Just changing the resolution from 300 to 150 sent a Hello World document 
from 140K to 14K.
