3 years no print with Linux

Generally speaking the Epson inkjets do seem to work with Linux/CUPS
quite well. I have a Photo810 and my father a CX41 both work fine. My
MPC190 by Canon on the other hand is OFFICIALLY not supported under
Linux and won't be :-(.
So now as a matter of principle I stay away from Canon kit. I've yet to
try HP home gear but at work the 5500 colour laserjet and the 8150 and
MP6Plus all work ok.
