MPlayer signal 11 decode_audio error

As I had to realise yesterday, MPlayer also crashes from time to time 
when just hearing mp3s over my network (smb), which is an "unacceptable" 
behaviour, esp. as it "tears down" the whole gnome session when killing 
the mplayer process.. :/

So I'll compile it from source again and I'm certain, everything will 
work out.

But, I can't complain, yet, as I don't even know how to build deb 
packages myself. I'll have a read in that area and once I'm fit, I'll 
have a chat with the MOTUs about the MPlayer maintenance; maybe I can 
give them a hand (I'm not intending to offend anyone who's right now 
responsible for that Packages; Please don't get me wrong!!!)
