Hello,

I'm new at this list (and a newbie at using Ubuntu btw). I've just
installed Ubuntu (Hoary) on my Toshiba Satellite A70. After installing
the ATI drivers (following instructions found here:
http://www.ubuntulinux.org/wiki/BinaryDriverHowto), every time I try to
start up any software that uses OpenGL, like screensavers or my
Playstation emulator, the system simply freezes, and the only thing I
can do is move the mouse pointer around. Is there any way to solve this
problem? My video card is a Radeon Mobility 9000.

Thanks,

Joaquim Nobre
