Installation report for Acer TravelMate 8100

Hi there, I just got a TM8104WLMi and I'm having problems installing the
hoary 5.04. I am not very expert, but apparently I do not see any
problem during installation from cd. The machine boot only in single
user mode. The xorg.conf file seems ok (graphic card recognized) but
loading graphics seem to be the problem. The systems boot with a live
cd that uses Xfree instead of Xorg: is maybe here the problem? Does
anybody know how fix ?
