I can't boot from my SCSI cdr

Hi,

i have a old scsi cdr (Compro 4x) and i want to install Ubuntu from that device,
but the bios doesn't seem to support it. Is there any way to boot using a floppy
disk and then continue the install process from the cd? I tried with SBM
following the instructions provided with the ubuntu install cd, but it doesn't
seem to support booting from a scsi cdrom.

Hope someone can help me,

Thank you,
