Openoffice stops working

Nope, haven't installed OO2. I copied an image with the working hoary on
my hdd to be able to continue with my work.. no time for messing around
till friday :(
I had a look at the processes with '$ top' and I remember that
soffice.bin was marked with an 'S' (sleeping, I suppose). No process was
stopped or zombie. Can't remeber any backgound process (and I anyway
would not know how top marks them..)
The difficulty with this "bug" is, that I haven't got a clue how to
reproduce it.. And I couldn't afford having OO not working.
Are there any logfiles specificly for OO where such an error could get
recorded?
regards
