Producing PDFs from OpenOffice spreadheets

Well, I have installed OpenOffice2 from Hoary, and it works fine
there.  You may want to consider using OpenOffice2, even if it is only
a beta - you can have both versions installed at one time.

BTW, I created three work sheets with random text and numbers in them.
 Then I did File -> Export as PDF.  Gave it a name (can't change the
line that says "selection"), said I wanted PDF after all, then a
window giving me a choice of selecting all, or just some pages, or the
selection, etc.
