i have tried to get this working for old macformat cdrom (though i might be able to get some fonts from them).

its not working though. it seems that i need to mount the /dev/hdc2 partition, but hotplug (or is it udev's responsibility) does not seem to create it.

sam at titania:~$ fdisk -l /dev/hdc
/dev/hdc
        # type name length base ( size ) system
/dev/hdc1     Apple_partition_map MRKS                     2 @ 1       (  1.0k)  Partition map
/dev/hdc2               Apple_HFS Toast 3.5.3 PPC Partition 1328953 @ 9       (648.9M)  HFS

Block size=512, Number of Blocks=1328962
DeviceType=0x0, DeviceId=0x0

any ideas?
