Hoary upgrade: no network connection

I'm not really sure what's up with some people's WiFi hookups. I use a 
cat5 to my router on my Hoary box. I did use Wifi on my old laptop when 
it was running Warty without any issues. ( I have a iBook now for a 
notebook)
