Flowcharting

Graphvis.
You need to become zen about control.  You describe the nodes and
connections, it handles the layout.  It seems bad for a small diagram,
but for large ones, it makes changing things much easier.  Because it
uses text files, you can use CVS or RCS to manage changes.  If you have
a massive diagram that is changed by a lot of people, it is great.

I'd like to do some type of flow charting inside of Linux and can't seem

to find an application to do so at a decent quality. There is Dia 
however not quite what I am looking for. Can anyone make any 
recommendations?
