Which filesystem should I use

Being a total idiot myself, i might suggest using the default
filesystem; guessing that the distribution would default to the one
answering your question.
Though it is being said that the next version will have templates for
such thing as:
* Stable
* Crash once a week
* Slowness
;)
(I have never had any problems with ext3, and think you wont gain much
from chosing another system)
