Andy,
Welcome to the community...basically I think Ubuntu is like any
distro except for it has the greatest community and release schedual out
there. Two small things I have noticed, 1. People have issues with
Nvidia cards (I did it now works) 2. And a few people have had issues
with ACPI (I also did but figured it out). I used Windows for 17 years
before this...had little quirks to get started and I've sworn I wont go
back.
