Unable to switch off individual sound events (Bug#: 1746) - Not Solved in 5.04?

Hi,

I tried Ubuntu Hoary Hedgehog 5.04 Live CD i386 on my Dell Inspirion 8500.

It stills seems like bug 1746 still is there even as the "Remove" button 
fix has been implemented.
Does this only happen on the Live CD ?

Unable to switch off individual sound events

What I did:

Choose System, Sound, Sound Events,
Select any of the sound event below (for example "Choose menu Item") and 
press "Remove"

    User Interface Events   
    Choose menu item
    Click on command button
    Select Check Box

Click "Close"

Choose a menu item and the sound will still be played!

PS: This is the first Hoary Live CD which discovered the 8500s 1920x1200 
Widescreen monitor correct! Kudos!!!
