[off topic] apple iBooks + linux wireless (Linux on laptop and all FLOSS?

I'm running Hoary happily on a Mitac 8060b. This is a 1st generation 
centrino notebook (Banias processor). Everything works (although I 
haven't tried the modem). ipw2100 wireless is slow (802.11b) but is 
supported out of the box on Ubuntu. NVIDIA GPU with working drivers. 
Everything goes like stink too.

PS Whoever invented /dev/mice in the 2.6 kernels is a genius. Very 
handy to be able to plug in a USB mouse on a laptop and not crash 
everything...
