I am using Xfce4.2 at this moment. Here are some persistent
~/.xsession-errors entries. The following usually gets repeated
thousands of times. BTW, I have xfce installed on a laptop and a
desktop... Same errors.

==========================================
I have already had an ~/.xsession-errors file approaching the megabyte
level with that error and the " *** attempt to put segment in horiz
list twice" errors, which get repeated thousands of times during a
session. I know that implies an svg problem somewhere and I have seen
it in all my installs of xfce4.2 in the past.
Also the "art render invoke no image source given" error message rears
up its head from time to time and starts generating many messages also.
===================================
One more thing: SOUND... Sound works OK for cd-players, vidio, and
media applications. But how do I get sounds for applications which use
sound events like Epiphany, Balsa, etc. The sound interface has two
drop-down menus: One entitled "Device" which has two choices: "default"
and "#0: ESS Maestro3 PCI" and the other menu choices are under "Wannabe
Master". Now in all my configuration experience on all the distros I
have used, I have never seen a "Wannabe Master" choice list. So what's
up with getting the sound working. What choices do I put in that little
config interface? I am getting no errors concerning sound. Just no
reaction and silence for events in Gnome apps. Daniel, assuming that I
wasn't as ignorant as I really am, told me that it will happily use OSS
or ALSA directly. OK, I'll go for that! But how do I get it to do that?
