Windows partition desktop icon disappearing

yes, i see the exact same behaviour. and its just the icons for my ntfs
mounts. i also use one nfs-share and this one is ALWAYS there. 
the ntfs show sometimes up, mostly not.
and unforunately no clue where to look....
