xscreensaver killed by adjust date & time dialog

Thanks. That works. I've also been doing this

sudo ntpdate ntp.ubuntulinux.org

but I like yours better.

However, my clock only runs fast when I rip CDs which makes me think 
it's software related.

And the Adjust Date & Time dialog killing xscreensaver is just bizarre. 
Is nobody else seeing that? I could live with it--it just seems like the 
kind of thing we should fix.
