xscreensaver killed by adjust date & time dialog

Hi.

I have an odd problem.

Whenever I open and close the Adjust Date & Time dialog on my Hoary
machine, xscreensaver dies. All I have to do is click OK. I don't have
to change the time or do anything else in that dialog.

I noticed that xscreensaver was dying occasionally because I'd come in
to the office every other morning or so and see that the screensaver
never turned on. So I'd open up the Screensaver preferences to confirm
it was enabled and it would tell me that xscreensaver wasn't running and
ask if I'd like to start it. This has been happening ever since I
installed Hoary about two weeks ago.

I just figured out this morning that it was the Adjust Date & Time
dialog. I opened up System Monitor so I could see all of the running
processes to confirm that xscreensaver is running. I open up the Adjust
Date & Time dialog and hit OK. xscreensaver disappears from the list of
running processes.

Any idea why this might be happening? I'm relatively new to Linux so
don't know much about debugging it.

By the way, the reason this happens so often is because my clock runs
fast whenever I rip CDs so I've been synchronizing my clock several
times a day to try to keep it in check. That's another weird problem I'd
like to get to the bottom of.

Thanks.
