todays update: auto power off

Hello

so angry i am!
just the last 2 weeks, Ubuntu shuts down with auto-power-off on my Laptop.  
this started to work after usual updates from Ubuntu sources.
just today i did again usual updates from Ubuntu and auto-power-off is NOT  
ANYMORE working.
this looks so silly to me. sorry, developers.

what to suggest, friends?
