Hello,

I'm sys admin and we are using Mandrake for our workstations. I'm
testing Ubuntu as a replacement.
We are using MIt kerberos and openldap.

I configure a test ubuntu workstation as KRB5/ldap client
i configure krb5.conf and I can get a ticket.
I configure lnbnss-ldap.conf, nsswitch.conf (as all my others stations)
but if I try id user1 (ldap user) I have no such user error

The only thing that change is that ubuntu is using compat (??) instead
of passwd file

Is there a other file to edit or do i have to run a command to update
compat ?

other prob, I cannot install ssh-krb5 because of openssh-client, if I
try to remove this one we wants to remove ubuntu=-desktop :)

I'd love to switch all our linux worstations to Ubuntu and Kubuntu !

Thanks !!
