Realone player?

I've installed both RealPlayer 10 and HelixPlayer in Linux and I
haven't seen any sign of the "evilness" from the Windows RealPlayer.

They must just figure that Windows folk are used to dealing with all
that junk, so they keep it on that platform. :) I've had good luck
with both the Linux and OSX versions though. Just FYI.

I also just used the binary installer from the helixcommunity.org (i
think) website. Piece of cake.
