Playback of encrypted dvd's on amd64

Hello and many thanks for putting this marvelous distribution together!

I have been trying to get playback of encrypted dvd's working on amd64 for a while and hoped that
somebody here has had more luck than I.

To start with I installed totem-xine (since totem-gstreamer complained about null pointers when I
tried to playback dvd's with it). I then built and installed libdvdcss2 from www.videolan.org's
debian archive.

Totem displays the copyright notices just fine, but when it comes to the actual dvd-menu it stops
saying that it can't read any more and asking wether I'm trying to play an encrypted dvd without
libdvdcss (as one can expect xine displays the same behaviour).

VLC plays the disc just fine (except for a bug resulting in no audio on amd64)

The output of "strace totem 2>&1 | grep -i dvdcss >ape" is attached.

Mvh
