Hello!
I installed successfully (apart from audio, but this isn't the matter)
this distro in my Dell Inspiron 510m, and everything worked fine until
today...
I run apt-get update; apt-get upgrade
then log-off and log-in (just to restart X) and....gnome freezed...
GDM starts without any problem, but, when I log in, the splash screen
stays there and nothing more happens.
Nothing interesting in the logs (nor in /var/log/messages nor in
/var/log/XFree86.0.log)
I tried rebooting the system, but nothing change. I proceded
installing wmaker and Kde and they works fine (so I think it's a
gnome-problem)
Any hint? Can I post some more to help solving this problem?
Thank you in advance, I'm happy to use this debian-like(but definitly
better)-distro!
Monja
