Can remote users control the scanner(s) too?

We've actually had long talks about priviledge seperation between local
and remote users.  Most of this will depend on a revoke() system call
which is not in the kernel yet (I believe).  Its something that Linux
should take advantage of when the correct implimentation shows itself.
