I just tried to install ubuntu on my laptop and during the install it 
used the 10/100 adapter but when it booted first time refused to use the 
10/100 but used the wireless instead

I've fiddled around with the network configuration file but I can't seem 
to get the 10/100 adapter to work properly again.

Any suggestions?
