Firefox Annoyance, Bugs?

I'm seeing this same behavior on a gentoo box with Firefox 0.10.

I'm unable to install extensions with Firefox 0.10 on ubuntu.  I
started with a fresh profile, and still no go on the extensions.  I
have not figured out why yet.
