Help!!Problem with my Benq joybook6000 using ubuntu linux!

hi,I have installed the ubuntu linux on my benq joybook6000.During the booting process,There is something wrong.
When loading the modules,it shows "Trying module lp",but it cann't continue!!Cann't pass it.How can i do?and what's the "lp" module??
