Hal not running properly

I'm running out of ideas how to remote-debug this. I attach my ssh
public key. If you install the package openssh-server, put my key into
/root/.ssh/authorized_keys (if the file does not exist yet, just copy
it there) and tell me your IP adress, then I can login to your
machine.

Right, sorry for that.

Ugh, that's a pretty short output. I also get these scary udevinfo
errors, so I guess that's nothing to worry about. But then it
continues to detect my CD-ROMs, and I get a half a thousand further
lines of debugging.

Did hald stop after spitting out these lines or continued it to run?
