I don't know about the libnssckbi.so file, but the various mozilla based 
apps (Mozilla, Firefox, Epiphany, etc) will check for plugins in 
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins in addition to their installation directory.  
So things like a flash plugin would probably be placed in this directory 
rather than the firefox directory.
