Seems that on some occasions we are faster than the users :-)

In fact all USB and FireWire devices are already mounted without write
caching (buffering) and also the automatic unmounting after just
ripping out the device already works. :-)

However, you cannot just rip out a CD-ROM, because the tray is locked,
and just ripping out a USB drive is not really safe: if they are still
open applications that use the drive, these get screwed up. That's why
we want to provide an obvious, easy and consistend unmount interface.
