Would it be a good idea to mount some removable media (floppies, USB/Firewire 
drives) without a buffer so that if the user removes the media from the 
computer the system can notice the removal and do the unmount without requiring 
the user to do it?  It seems more convenient to the user to do it this way, but 
I'm guessing there's some angle on this I'm not thinking of at this moment.
