Package: hotplug
Version: 0.0.20040329-11ubuntu8
Severity: normal
Ide-cd is not automatically loaded at boot time, but it should be loaded.
I have a system with both SCSI and IDE drives :
- 1 SCSI hard disk (/dev/sda2 is mounted on /)
- 1 IDE hard disk
- 1 IDE cd-recorder
all these three peripherals are well detected by the kernel, as you can
see in this output (dmesg |grep [hs]d):
thx1138:~# dmesg |grep [hs]d
