Ubuntu home page - no news?

Hi,

from time to time i browse to ubuntu's home page, 
http://www.ubuntulinux.org, to see what's new:, wiki, docs, and other 
stuff...
... and one thing that bothers me a bit is the lack of some kind of 
"news" page, where i would see a summary of  recent materials.

is a news page planned, or hasn't anyone considered it yet?

i'm sure that there could be many "news items" of interest to include in 
it, like reviews, artwork, docs, builds, and all that stuff.!
on the other hand, if maintenence is a a problem, just a couple of news 
per week would be fine.


I would really love to see a "News" link just after the "Home" one!
