IPv6 Nightmares. Why cant I not use!

1) Open Mozilla/Firefox
2) Enter -about:config- in the address bar
3) Scroll down to/search for -network.dns.disableIPv6- 
4) Change the value from -false- to -true- 
5) Exit the browser and restart (if you've disabled IPv6, you'll need
to reinstate it)
6) Fire up the browser and test it out

I've done these things & now have IPv6 loaded & -I think- the
performance is okay - I really don't know how to objectively measure
it, which is why I'm looking for verification.
