problem setting up PHP

Ta, If I did not have the mysql extension uncommented in php.ini or
would the above do this for me - i'me asking because I was planning on
doing a apache/php/mysql howto.

so far I have - install apache2 - mod php - mysql.

and not php4-mysql (I guess there is a php5-mysql also).

>From my understanding og pkg policy stuff a package is not allowed to
change the config file of another package? so I guess I would need to
uncomment the extension?
