No sound, First install, VIA VT8233 motherboard

pci=noacpi onto the boot prompt didn't work... but
thanks Pizbit for the suggestion.  

Anyone have suggestions for dealing with the 
sudo modprobe -r parport_pc
FATAL: Module parport_pc is in use.
