Name resolution is very slow

IPV6 is the cause. (Some DNS servers does not go well with it)

The only way to disable it on Ubuntu seems to be renaming 

/lib/modules/2.6.8.1-3-686/kernel/net/ipv6/ipv6.ko

to 

/lib/modules/2.6.8.1-3-686/kernel/net/ipv6/ipv6.ko.bak

for the time beeing.
