Will there be a boot splash like the one in suse, mandrake?

Yeah, who needs pretty stuff? For that matter, to heck with icons, and
wallpaper, and resolutions above 640x480. Who needs 'em? It's all
stupid eye candy anyway! We're real men, we don't need that stuff!

The fact is, the ideal state for a Linux distro is that Windows no
longer has any advantages over it. Prettiness, like it or not, is an
advantage, and 95% of the population will never ever care about the
information in the boot sequence. Those of us who *can* troubleshoot
are perfectly capable of getting to the information; everyone else is
just intimidated by the endless rows of cryptic text.
